Biannual Apartamento launched in 2008 to celebrate homes, living
spaces and the people that inhabit them, as opposed to houses and
design dictatorship. The magazine takes you in into the homes of
artists, designers, musicians and other creative people, and tells
stories about their lives through intimate conversations and honest
photos. Celebrating the everyday, Apartamento dares to show the dirty
socks on the floor and the coffee stains on the mug, all as part of
their fresh and simply crafted aesthetic. Issue 9 includes the
winning formula (in 2010 Apartamento won the Yellow Pencil award in
the Magazine & Newspaper Design / Entire Magazines) we know from
earlier issues, and comes with two new short stories written by Jocko
Weyland and Amanda Maxwell.
