Clog #13 – The Guggenheim Issue

The word clog can mean to block through an accumulation of a thick matter so that everything is forced to slow down and this is exactly what Clog Magazine does with their mono-thematic approach of picking one architecturally relevant subject and discussing it through multiple approaches rather than fleetingly giving many objects some attention.
This issues’ subject is the Guggenheim. Alongside conversations with, among others, the current director of the museum and members of the Guggenheim Helsinki jury are visually pleasing yet informative infographics of everything relating to the museum: a Guggenheim family tree, building comparisons between the various Guggenheims and a US as well as international museum comparison chart. Of course architectural drawings by the architect Frank Lloyd Wright aren’t missing as well as numerous photographs of all the Guggenheims.
